This year, there will be eight public holidays, including new year’s day, good friday, easter monday, may day, spring bank holiday, summer bank holiday, christmas day, and boxing day. Christmas day 2024 is an official bank holiday and so is new year’s day 2025 as they both fall on a wednesday.
